The House of Representatives voted 316 to 109 to provide an extra billion in funding for Cash for Clunkers. When the CARS program became a runaway success this week, car buyers and dealers believed the billion allocated for CARS rebates would be depleted too soon and urged Congress to provide more funding. Today I had leftovers at lunch before putting up my hair and jumping in the shower to rinse off before my 1 p.m. interview as an office assistant at a renewable energy company here in Redmond. While scrubbing, I noticed a funny taste in my mouth that wasn’t boding well on my breath. No matter, I felt right at home at the small family-run business with dogs running around (the same sort of environment I grew up working in).
