Note that every particle known has a wave function and can in theory be described as a wave or a particle, but not both simultaneously. The wave function of such particles obeys the Schrödinger Equation in the non-relativistic limit and the equations of relativistic quantum field theory in the relativistic limit.   All known and theoretical particles, at least the ones that are plausible, have either odd integer multiples of  1/2  unit of quantum spin or  even integer multiples of  1/2  unit
